So since we only have 2 months to get everything done, my to do list is below. I don't have that much and honestly, I'm not super worried about getting things done. I am just SO happy that the invites are in peoples hands!
2 Month Count Down:
- Programs
- Rehearsal Dinner Invites
- Rehearsal Dinner Menus
- Seating Arrangements
- Favors
- Finalize songs with Spencer (DJ)
- Finalize flowers with Shamrock Gardens
- Dress Fittings
- Pick-up our wedding bands (we just sent them out to be engraved on Saturday)
- Pick or write our vows
- Hair and make-up trials
- Get our marriage license!!
- Finalize all payments with our vendors (yuck!)
Those are the big to do's I have left. And honestly, it's just not that bad. I'm at the stage where these details are super fun and getting me closer to marrying my love, so they're worth every second we spend completing them.
61 days to go!!!!

You'll have fun getting your marriage license. If the clerk's office in Chi-town is anything like it was in S. Bend, you'll overhear some wild stories told by the people around you in line. I was so excited to be there that I didn't read all the questions on the form, and accidentally indicated that I was "not of sound mind". If my descendants ever research my records, that's what they'll find out. Lovely, eh? Let me know if you guys need help with anything on your list.
